Description
Roller lock pins are used in the very last cross member in all canopies made after 2002, replacing the Canopy Roller Hooks. These are designed to lock the last fabric panel of each canopy in place, which is typically located on the house side when the structure is attached to the home.
Note: The Roller Lock Pins were again re-designed in 2009. The new version fits all earlier canopies and serves the same purpose.
Installation:
Preparation: Remove the canopies from the tracks and lay them flat.
Remove old roller:
Insert a flat-head screwdriver into the square locking tab located in the aluminum part of the crossmember.
Push the tab in while pulling on the roller to remove it.
Install new roller:
Align the sleeve locking tab with the square opening in the aluminum crossmember.
Gently tap the roller into place with a rubber mallet if needed.
